An emulation of the features and structure of an Oberheim Synthesizer Expander Module, coupled with a CATstick joystick controller (here implemented as an X/Y pad). The CATstick also contained two additional LFOs.
Since the original SEM had so few CV inputs that aspect of the emulation has been cheated to allow the stick to control any combination of: either or both VCOs, VCF and VCA.
Clicking on the panel's 'Notes' button will display helpful info.
Many, many thanks to 'bbuese' on the DSPR forum for designing the 'spring-action' for the stick - unlike typical X/Y pads, the CATstick returned to the center/zero-output position when it was released. Here one has the option of spring-loaded 'stick' or normal X/Y pad operation.
This does NOT emulate or model the actual sound of a SEM, or any other vintage hardware synth, just borrows from the control design, layout and panel design of the SEM and the CATstick.
32-bit, so will require jBridge, etc., (or a DAW that will bridge) for use on 64-bit systems.
